February 17, 2012: Issue #14, page 20

All righty-roo, Dotfans! With this upload, the entirely of issue #14 is now online for your viewing pleasure. Mark your calendars for next week, everybody - issue #15 shall begin uploading at that point, in which the plot REALLY thickens!

And so, Dotman and Happy follow along behind Double-Head, who are en route to meet up with Rock Dot, Dot Dragon, and their captives at the Dotland Volcano. Will our heroes be able to save Spencer and Chuckle from the dreaded fate of "monsterization"? Find out in the next exciting issue of Dotman!

December 5, 2011: Dotman Holiday Sales 2011

Happy Holidays, Dotfans! Yes, with December now upon us, the holiday season will soon be here, a time to celebrate the warmth of the season with friends, and family... and Dotman, too!

And by that, we mean Dotman will be hosting some special holiday sales coming up soon in the following weeks. Pop on out to his vendor table at either of the following locations and dates to check out the latest from the world of Dotman and meet with the artist/writer, Chas Goguen - and while you're there, pick up some Dotman goodies for all your holiday gift-giving needs!

November 16, 2011: Hal-Con 2011

Woo!! Another Hal-Con has come to a close, Dotfans! This was the best convention to hit Halifax, Nova Scotia EVER!! Thank you to everyone who came out to the Dotman Comics table in the Artist Alley to check out what's new and happening in the world of Dotman, and we hope you all had a tremendous blast at the convention!

One of these days, we're seriously gonna hafta set aside some time to do proper conreps (convention reports) of these thingies again... but in the meantime, we'll keep you posted on when the next event Dotman will be appearing at shall be taking place!

June 18, 2011: Canada Day Dotman Sale

Yes, Dotfans, once again, Dotman is going to be holding a special sale event on Canada Day! As per usual, the good folks of Read's United Books in uptown Saint John will be hosting the annual Canada Day Dotman sale in-store, coinciding with the massive uptown Rhoda's Flea Market on Charlotte and King Streets. If you're going to be in the Saint John area on Canada Day, c'mon by to check out the flea market, pop into the comic book store and pick up some primo Dotman merchandise!

June 18, 2011: Animaritime 2011

While not exactly a Dotman-related event, we still felt like sharing this information with you. This Canada Day weekend in Moncton, NB, the Delta Beausejour Hotel will be host to Animaritime 2011! This is a popular anime convention held every year for all the Maritime provinces of Canada; 2011 marks its seventh year returning. Everything you would expect from a great convention will be there - discussion panels, vendors, special events, and of course... the costumes!

Though Dotman won't be hosting his usual display table at this particular event, the creator, Chas Goguen, will certainly be on hand for the duration of the weekend, and he'll have with him a supply of the comic books should anyone want to sit down and read an issue or twenty. He's also likely to bring along a supply of Dotman cards to hand out, so if you're interested in a little keepsake, be on the lookout for Dragon Ball Z's hero, Goku, roaming the convention floor. (Hint: that's the costume Chas will be wearing.)

But act fast! With less than two weeks left until the grand opening, passes could start selling out fast! Head on over to the Animaritime website to pre-order your passes now!

June 18, 2011: Dotman: the Chaos Crystal

Sorry to say, we have a bit of upsetting news, folks. For any of you who had been regularly following the new story of the Chaos Crystal, you may have noticed a considerable lack of weekly updates over the past, say, several months. In short, running a webcomic with the level of quality that was being put into it began to prove too much of a challenge for our plucky cartoonist to keep up with on a weekly basis. So, the story abruptly came to a sudden halt - just as it was getting good, too...

But fear not! The story he had planned out was far too epic for Chas to simply let disappear off the face of the Internet, so he's begun considering alternatives. As such, he is going to reboot the webcomic within the next little while, albeit with significantly less quality than before. If you can endure the lack of fancy backgrounds, shading, visual effects and whatnot, the story shall continue, and from what we've already seen, it's a dang awesome story to get hooked on. So, stay tuned for that!

As before, the Chaos Crystal installments will be featured primarily on the Official Dotman WebSite, along with the Dotman Comics fanpage on Facebook. Plus, for those of you interested in other webcomic sites, you can also keep track of the Chaos Crystal adventure at the following locations:
